Written by Jack and Harry Williams, Directed by Terry McDonough and Sarah O'Gorman, THE ASSASSIN II has completed its filming in Malta.

The second season picks up after Julie (Keeley Hawes) and her estranged son Edward (Freddie Highmore) return from a disastrous trip to Northern Europe. Julie has slipped back into her old life as an assassin, while Edward's honeymoon with Kayla (Shalom Brune-Franklin) takes a turn for the worse. The unexpected twist forces the estranged pair to reunite and dive into Spain's corrupt underworld.

Other new cast members in season 2 include Arnaud Binard (Emily in Paris) as Bastien and Boris Van Severen (Baptiste) as Titus.
