Created by Matilda Curtis and Ashley Storrie, #Dinosaur has begun filming in Scotland!
Dinosaur is a 6x30' comedy following the experience of Nina, an autistic woman in her 30s. Her life is turned upside down when her best friend / sister Evie announces she is engaged after only six weeks of knowing the man! Forced to reconcile with her sister’s impulsive decision, Nina grapples with what this new challenge means.
The cast features Ashley Storrie as the lead, she adds: "I’m so excited that we’ve started filming, I’m jazzed to showcase Glasgow in all its magical beauty to the world!"
Accompanying Ashley is Kat Rooney (The Royal Mob) as her sister Evie. The two are joined by David Carlyle (It’s A Sin) as Bo, Lorn Macdonald (BEATS, The Lazarus Project, Bridgerton) as Lee and Danny Ashok (Roadkill, Capital) as Ranesh.
Also joining the cast in supporting roles are Greg Hemphill (Still Game) as Ade, Sabrina Sandhu (Dodger, The Syndicate) as Amber, Ben Rufus Green (The Cockfields) as Shane, Jim Kitson (Land of Women) as Declan, Sally Howitt (River City) as Diane, Kate Dickie (Game of Thrones, Inside Man) as Cecily and Sanjeev Kohli (Still Game) as Sachin.
