The Missing Series 2 Broadcasts on BBC1

The second series of Harry and Jack Williams’ acclaimed thriller, The Missing, broadcast on Wednesday 12th October to audiences of 6 million.

The first episode garnered a highly favourable response. The Guardian described the opening episode as “utterly gripping and intriguing”, while The Telegraph described the series as a “Hitchcockian suspense thriller”, that has “redefined British crime drama”.

The Missing stars Keeley Hawes, David Morrissey and Season 1 alum Tcheky Karyo, reprising his role as French detective Julien Baptiste. Now available on iPlayer.

We’re delighted to announce our new drama Liar for ITV and Sundance TV. Acclaimed actors Joanne Froggatt and Ioan Gruffudd will star in the compelling emotional six-part thriller, which has been created and written by BAFTA- and Golden Globe-nominated producers and screenwriters Harry and Jack WilliamsLiar tells the story of a night that changes the lives of Laura Newell (Froggatt) and Andrew Ellis (Gruffudd) forever.

The 6 x 60’ series will be executive produced by Harry and Jack Williams (Fleabag, The Missing, One of Us). Lead director is BAFTA winner James Strong (Broadchurch, The Great Train Robbery, 11-22-63) who will also executive produce. Eliza Mellor (The Living and the Dead, Poldark, Death Comes to Pemberley) will produce the series. Sam Donovan (Humans, The Living and the Dead, Utopia) will direct episodes 4 to 6.

Our new four-part thriller, One of Us, set in the dark Scottish Highlands, will air on BBC1 on Tuesday 23rd August at 9pm.

One Of Us follows the aftermath of a horrific double murder in the remote Scottish Highland Village of Braeston. As the families of the two victims come together, they are faced with the terrible realisation that the murderer is one of them. The ensemble cast includes Juliet Stevenson, Laura Fraser and Joe Dempsie.

After a hugely successful debut on BBC3, we are thrilled to announce our hit comedy Fleabag is moving to BBC2. The first episode will be broadcast on Sunday 21st August at 10pm. Written by and starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Fleabag also stars Olivia Colman, Hugh Dennis and Bill Patterson.
